Presentation Guidelines

The Liver Week 2021 provides authors with a chance to present their abstracts to a wider audience through oral and/or poster presentations. To ensure that instructions are shared effectively with all the presenting authors of the accepted abstracts, we encourage all presenters to review the following:

Oral Presenters

Important NotesAll oral presenters will be requested to pre-record her/his presentation and upload it to the Webhard in the approved format in advance of The Liver Week 2021 and in accordance with deadlines set by The Liver Week 2021. The pre-recorded presentation will be made available as an OnDemand product and will remain online for up to ninety (90) days to extend the reach of The Liver Week 2021.

All oral presenters will be also requested to come to the designated studio and make a presentation if the COVID-19 pandemic situation gets better. If the situation prevents the presentation, it will be replaced by the pre-recorded file and a real-time question and answer session to be carried out online.

How To Prepare the Oral Presentation

  • For Oral Presentation, presenting authors use PowerPoint slides to accompany their oral presentation (up to a maximum of 15 slides).
  • All presenters will participate in a real-time question and answer session after their presentations.
  • Presentation size: Widescreen 16:9
  • The length of presentation:
    • Free Paper: Total 10 minutes (8 minutes of presentation & 2 minutes of real-time question and answer session)
    • KASL Plenary: Total 15 minutes (12 minutes of presentation & 3 minutes of real-time question and answer session)
    • Plenary: Total 15 minutes (12 minutes of presentation & 3 minutes of real-time question and answer session)
  • Presentation language:
    • Free Paper: Korean or English
    • KASL Plenary: English
    • Plenary: English
  • Best Presentation Award awardees will be selected based on the quality of their presentations by the judges of The Liver Week 2021, who shall evaluate the presentation. Best Presentation Award will be awarded on May 15th during the Closing & Award Ceremony.

Poster Presenters
